PE Reflection

こんばんわ、

Reflection time again! I've actually felt satisfied in terms of accomplishing my goals in participation and effort when completing pronunciation exercises. I've tried to take on more challenging exercises and have been exposing myself to more Japanese through anime and conversation. I even had a scary moment when I was thinking in broken Japanese unintentionally. So I feel satisfied in that respect.

金曜日には私の彼女とアニバーサリーです。だから、彼女にぼうしをつくりました。また、ギフトカードとたくさん甘い物を買いました。来月に私達は旅行に行きます。プレゼントが好きだと思います！

二週間前にルームメイトときみのなはを見ました！とてもよかったです！えいがに私の一番好きだった物はおんがくでした。えいがのおんがくはとてもりっぱでした。

Midterm Reflection

こんばんわ、

Reflection time. Honestly, I'm starting to have a hard time with Japanese, at least on the test level. This is by far the most difficult course I have ever taken, and while enriching, I'm having a worse time with keeping pace. I'm trying to stay positive and improve my study strategies, including seeing a tutor. I need to remember that others are probably (at least hopefully (although I don't know if it's wrong to hope?)) others are struggling too. I feel intimidated, but I have to turn that intimidation around. On the bright side, the oral exam went well (despite my poor written test scores). Here's hopefully to a better few weeks in class. Wish me luck.

私の春休み

春休みに私は家に帰りました。テネシーはとても温かかったから、いいですよ。私の彼女とえいがをにほん見ました。火曜日にゲトアウトを見ました。とてもこわかったでも、おもしろかったです。そして、木曜日にロガンを見ました。ロガンはとてもよかったでも、かなしいです。私はえいがが大好きです。そして、たのしかったです。

I intend this statement to be a personal promise to myself to challenge myself more when it comes to assigned pronunciation exercises, a practice I have admittedly tried minimally at. I still fully intend to reach for the goals I set for myself last semester, as I mentioned in a previous post, but this statement is a record of my lack of effort that I intend to change in the future.

Time to reflect on the goals I set out to complete at the beginning of the semester.　I'm happy that　I've met most of my goals, the only incomplete one being attending the Japanese language table, which I immediately realized conflicted with my schedule. However, I have practiced by watching anime and study when I can, and I hope to maintain that work ethic in the rest of my studies. Have a great next semester everyone.
